The central plant laboratory (TsZL) of joint stock company “Dneprotyazhmash” consists of 5 laboratories:

1. Metallurgical laboratory carries out the generalizing analyses of the technological processes, which exist in the metallurgical production, the development of the new technologies both testing promising materials and connected with this experimental searches.

2. Chemical laboratory with the spectral group ensures conducting the analysis of the chemical composition of the source materials of metallurgical production (such as ferro alloys, fireproof materials and the like)

3. Laboratory of metallurgical science determines by the method of destructive quality control of articles made of the metal - structure, the strength characteristics of metal, i.e., its physicomechanical properties. Laboratory participates in the development of the new technological processes of heat treatment for guaranteeing the required quality of output.

4. Express-spectrometric laboratory during 3-5 minutes carries out the analysis of the chemical composition of any [vyplavlyaemoy] stamp of steel and cast iron (for example - on the line of [prizvodstva] of tubes). Because of the application of contemporary spectrometers “Spektrolab”, the result of analysis they correspond to world standards.

5. Molding laboratory accomplishes an estimation of the quality of initial molding materials, and also the development of the promising compositions of molding mixtures - the quality of castings to a considerable degree depends on the quality of the materials, used for preparing the foundry mold.
